WWI M1889 German Prussian Infantry Officers Degen Sword

Description

WWI Model 1889 German Prussian Infantry Officers Sword. The ricasso is unmarked. The steel guard (rusty) and grip are tight. The grip is 99% complete. The twisted wire is complete. The finger loop is complete but dry. The double fullered blade is unsharpened, has a few nicks, has age spots scattered throughout, and the last 1/16" of the tip is bent. Washer is intact. Length of the blade measures 30 3/4" (13/16" wide x 1/4" thick spine), and overall length of the sword is 36 5/8".
