WWI Imperial German Officers Saxony 1867 Sword

Description

Saxony Model 1867 Officer sword. Marker marked on blade near the guard HAST & UHTHOFF DRESDEN and EISENHAUER GARANTIERT in the blood groove. Good shape for its age. Comes in a steel scabbard. featuring a gilt crown and initials on the ricasso. The grip is covered with rayskin and brass twist wire to the grip. Blade also still has the buffer pad intact. What the German call the luxus or luxurious model. Measures just at 3 ft long.
