WWI Imperial German Model 1873 Officer's Sword E. Pack & Sohne + Scabbard

Description

WWI Imperial German Model 1873 Officer's sword. Blade length: 33", Total length: 38.5".  Bright chrome finished fullered saber blade.  Ricasso marked: E. PACK & SOHNE SOLINGEN". with Cartouche of man swinging a sledge hammer above lettering. Steel hilt wire wrapped handle, scabbard is painted steel with a suspension ring.  Grip shows a crack on black grip by pommel on the right.  See photo 11.  The blade is bright and free of pitting or aged patina.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
