WWI German EB42 Ersatz Saw Back Bayonet with Scabbard 14" Blade

Here we have a German WWI, Ersatz type 42 (EB42) Saw Back Bayonet with black metal Scabbard. Both blade and scabbard are in very nice condition. I am only able to see one maker or military inspector mark on the top edge of the blade as shown in photo. There are no dents, major dings or flaws. The saw back blade measures 14 1/2". The length of the bayonet is 18 1/2". When sheathed in the scabbard, the length is 20". The scabbard is missing the spring steel throat that slides into the top which keeps the blade in place. Therefore, the blade fits loosely when sheathed.
