WWI Eickhorn German KS98 Sawback Bayonet w/Scabbard

Description

WWI German KS98 Sawback Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is faintly marked with back to back squirrels over "C.E." for Carl Eickhorn. The black checkered grips do show wear with flat spots and crackles on the edges. The sawback blade is straight, has been sharpened, the tip is sharp, tight, some small nicks, and has a few spots of surface rust. The lock button is functional. The black enameled scabbard is solid with no dents, has paint loss scattered throughout, and scabbard is a little loose. Leather washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 10" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 15/16", and in the scabbard it is 15 7/8".
