    ., he was in the 2nd Battalion, which was in India, then Singapore, Sarawak and then Borneo where the regiment surrendered to the Japanese in March 1942.
    Sepoy Hunta Ram died in captivity 14th of June, 1945.
    He is remembered on the Singapore War Memorial Column 261 in Singapore.
