WW1 German trench knife! Beautiful original example! Boot Knife.
Beautiful and unaltered example of a WW1 German Trench/Boot knife. I have had this knife in my collection for about 20 years and it is time to sell. Knife is in excellent shape retaining much of the original black paint on the sheath. The leather is supple and not cracked. The clasp works flawlessly. The wood handle is tight and unaltered. The blade has a few fine scratches but remains intact with its original point. Some of the brownish discoloration on the blade is grease that was applied long ago. I am unable to read the makers mark. knife in sheath is approximately 11.5" long.
