he bayonet is marked 1917 and is (104) years old.
I
t was purchased at a military show approximately (25) years ago. It had heavy brown grease on the blade. I have taken the grease off and found the blade to be in very good condition.

he blade is in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. All the grease was removed.
The handle is wood with wear you would expect from a WW1 bayonet. There is discoloration.

he sheath is very well worn. There are scratches.....dings.....dents......and discoloration.
