Vintage invitation and card -- Hagerstown MD

Description

Vintage invitation reads: "Mr and Mrs Jn H Miller request the pleasure of Mrs Yates Company at Dinner December twenty sixth at one o'clock 36 South Mulberry St. In honor of the marriage of their daughter Nettie.  Married December 22nd 1898."  ** since this lot was purchased in Hagertstown with letter below, I believe this refers to Mulberry Street Hagerstown MD.
The card (in the letter cover to Mrs Clarence L Smith Eakles Mill, Md. dated June 1 - 15) reads: "Hagerstown Md June 6, 1915 (?) Mrs. C L Smith Dear Friend. Many thanks for the box of pretty hand-kerchiefs. It was too bad you could not come up for my com-mencement.  Give my love to all, Sincerely yours, Ruth Lindergren (?)"
