    Description

    Weyersberg & Stamm Solingen Austro-Hungarian militaria, officer's sword Model 1889 in the original black leather and gilt-mounted sheath, with gilt brass half-basket hilt having the double-headed Habsburg eagle in foliage and brass wire-wrapped fish skin grip, the ornately-etched steel blade in near-pristine condition with one fuller, the ricasso stamped "Solingen," the sheath with gilt brass scabbard bands, one having the monogram "FJ 1" below a crown, for Emperor Franz Josef I.
