Description

This is an antique black and white postcard of
Contrexéville
, Vosges, France with an undivided back. It shows a beautiful view of
Muzaffar ed-Din/ Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar
(1853-1907) of Persia shooting Pigeons in 1902. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 10 years
OLD
.
Please note that the
raster graphics
are only on the scan and not on the
card
itself.
This postcard was published by G. Chassel. This postcard was sent in 1903 or 1908. The 10 centimes stamp is still attached on it. There are 2 stamps on this postcards, but the one on the front side seems to have been put later on it. In this condition I obtained this postcard.
However some cornerwear and a slight waterstain in the back they do not affect the picture (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
