    R
    arity of the bayonet
    because
    he does not have
    button for connection with rifle
    ( see picture). W
hy did this happen. As part of the 1919 Versailles Treaty, German was limited to a standing army of 100,000 soldiers, 150,000 Police, no Air Force, No Naval Force, and limited weaponry. This bayonet  was 'de-milled' to prevent it from being mounted on a rifle by applying a "V" grind mark in the handle disabling the release/lock button. These bayonets were then issued to various city/district Police departments a side arm. The "S.B.W. II" indicates it was first with the "Berlin West police group, 2nd area/district" from at least 1922. A
    bout
mark G.A.47:  "G" and "A" could be "Aurich district ", a district in Lower Saxony, Germany, located on the coast of the North Sea across from Netherlands. The "47" is a guess, either a weapon number, a Police Station.
I had made pictures that serve as an additional description.
