Rare German Model 1871 Rifle Gewehr Bayonet Clemens & Jung + Regimental Marking

Description

Rare maker German M1871 Rifle Bayonet measuring 23-1/2" overall with a blade length of 18-1/2".  Blade shows age patina, wear, some scattered pitting, smooth blade with much original finish, tight brass handle with excellent working press-stud. Ricasso area of blade stamped "CLEMENS & JUNG SOLINGEN", Crossguard marked with Reg. markings: 6.20.91. Crown Stamping Cartouches on Pommel end, top of cross-guard, and spine of handle area. The spine of the blade is marked, "W76" with cartouches, placing date to 1876.  No scabbard.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
