Pierre Lurne AUDIOMECA Kreatura CD Player "Read" Infrequent CD read issue

Beautiful, and rare Pierre Lurne Kreatura CD Player with original manual, remote, and power cord.  No smoke, kids, pets, etc.  I am the original owner, purchased over twenty years ago for about ,900.00.
PLEASE NOTE....  I'm selling this because this player does not read every CD you give it.  It won't read about 15% of the CD's inserted.  It seems that longer CD's that have lots of songs have a hard time.  It seems the pick-up has it's own mind.  It just started doing this recently.  When it does read, which is most of the time, it works beautifully and sounds absolutely wonderful!  All functions are AOK.  The remote works perfectly too with no battery residue, etc.  Please note, there is some minor discoloration on the top chrome surface.
I'll carefully pack and ship anywhere in the lower 48 United States.  NO International shipping.  I will cancel bids by out of USA country bidders.  UPS Ground shipping in the USA will be a flat fee of .00.

Regarding the eBay "sales tax".  I cannot remove the charge sales tax part of my auction. I do not know why....
