NAD CD Player C 525BEE

Description

This is my cherished NAD CD Player C 525BEE. Condition is "Seller refurbished". This US market unit has seen the lightest and kindest of use. I am the first owner, bought new at retail and it comes in the original carton with foam inserts, the original remote (working with 100% clean battery chamber) and a printed copy of the English language manual. I am a CD fan and am only selling this because I am upgrading to the 00 Primare DD15 to use with my external DAC. I loved the sound of this Bjorn Erk-Evardsen designed model. Sadly he passed in 2018, so there will not be any new NAD models that carry his design initials. RIP. The only defects are a few usual marks on the top from being moved in and out of my rack. Hardly even scratches, mostly swirls but what real scratches there were, have been lovingly retouched by me with some paint that I mixed up to get as close as possible. Not exact but in normal light you would never see it (this and only this, accounts for the seller ‘refurbished’ classification). The last two pictures were taken in the most revealing high contrast light I could find, to deliberately make these marks look worse than they really are. The lettering of the NAD badge has a slight line through it, so fine you really have to go looking for it, and the box shows a little wear and tear but otherwise it is pretty new looking. I really liked the unit, especially with the digital coaxial output. Sad to see it go. Used Hifi can be a tough category on eBay but I pride myself on accuracy and honesty. I record the unit and logic board serial numbers on all my electronics listings for safety and satisfaction.
