McIntosh MS300 Music Server

Description

This auction is for a refurbished McIntosh MS300 music server. The electrolytic capacitor of the power supply has been replaced. The 300GB IDE disk drive is replaced with a NOS Seagate drive. These two items are the common cause of failure of these machine. If they are not repair and replace, it is a time bomb and you will have problems. You can surf the web looking for electrolytic capacitor failure due to bad/stolen formula (Capacitor plague)  to view this issue. If you have one of these machine and not functioning or need to replace these capacitors, message me.

As you can see from the picture, the unit is in great condition. The internet radio is working, most unit you see online can't get this to work, not in this case. It currently has about 5648 tracks of mixed music in the unit. Let me know if you would like me to deleted them for you. Otherwise, it will ship as is.   If you need more detail photo, please message me. It comes with remote and power cord.

Serial number are as follows, logic board 50334003 8158408 EC0032 with MAC address of 00:30:60:80:8B:47, CD rom drive 1334163, power supply A000128, Seagate hard disk 5QF3CD6M. Keep in mind that McIntosh had shut down their server for these unit, Gracenote function no longer available.
