    J8I WWII: 1945 The Defence Medal - 1939-1945 King George VI - For Civil Defense. It is approximately 2"  by 1 1/2" and in very good condition. Medal awarded for non-operational service in the Armed Forces, the Home Guard, the Civil Defence Service and other approved civilian services during the period from September 3, 1939 to May 8, 1945 and others until September 2, 1945 for serving in certain specified territories in the Far East and the Pacific. The pictures shown are of the actual item. Please examine all the photos and make your own determination.
