German Imperial Württemberg Train Battalion Sword Saber WW1

Description

This is an example of a German Imperial Württemberg Train Battalion Sword Saber that dates from the World War 1 Era. The slightly curved blade measures 33 1/8 inches in length by 1 1/8 inches at the widest. The blade although is lightly stained with light flaking does remain in healthy condition with beautiful etching still present on either side which includes the Regimental marking "2. K. S. Train Bataillon No 19". The plated stirrup hilt also remains nice and tight and frames a healthy composite hilt. Overall measuring 38 5/8 inches in length. There is no scabbard.
