German Germany US WW1 WW2 Bayonet Fighting Knife w/ Scabbard.
I got this at an old estate sale. I have no clue who made it…or what era. It definitely looks older than a lot of the WWII bayonets or fighting knives that I’ve seen on eBay. It has the characteristics of a German knife. It resembles a German Navy Mauser K98 that I’ve seen on eBay go for 0.
The blade without including the handle is 10 inches long. The entire handle is 15 3/8 inches.
It’s engraved “3367” on one side of the blade and looks to be “001”…then below that “48”
The only flaw I see is the little piece on the leather holder is torn…has you can see in the picture. I have not touched the blade at all to clean it up. Buying as is…
