German or Austrian WW1-WW2 Fireman's Axe
About; 15 1/2" (Handel)  x 9" (ax head)
Ax head is loose on the handle but the two metal bars on the side hold it on the head. There is space for a shim and that would lock it firmly in place, I suspect.  The wood on the handle is not in good condition, with lot's of age to it.  However the handle is still strong and in working condition.
