The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex
. The signature measures 2.5 by 1 inches and is in fine condition with soiling. The book was published by John Murray in 1885, contains the publisher’s original green cloth, gilted letters on the spine, illustrations in the text, 693 pages, measures 7.75 by 5 inches, and in fine condition with minor rubbing along the extremities. Three similar Darwin signatures recently sold for ,897 in August 2016, ,429 in December 2016, and ,001 in January 2020 at RR Auction.
