    Up for auction is a 10" long strand. It is Shell and Steatite. I believe that this is actually older than the category that it is listed in. These were found in the Tulare Lake Region. There are some unique beads. There are some canine style beads that are made out of steatite. This was more than likely a pre 1600 before contact necklace. A very cool strand of beads.
