    Description

    Antique German made Argentine Bayonet and Scabbard.  Bayonet measures 20.5" overall with a blade length of 15.75",  Overall fine condition with some light wear, use, age patina.  Excellent working press-stud, very nice grips.    Normally the Argentine crest are ground off before these are exported.  This one clearly shows the crest and is marked around it,
    "MODELO ARGENTINO 1909". The opposite side is marked, "WEYERSBURG KIRSHBAUM & Co. Solingen". Both the bayonet and scabbard have matching S/N# of D6370. Scabbard does not lock when you slide bayonet all the way in.  Fits nicely but does not lock.  See photos.
