Argentine 1891 shortened bayonet. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Up for auction is one more of my odd Argentine bayos... I have not seen this one in any book, this I think it is a “off the records” modification, a good one indeed... I took a lot of pix, so you may appreciate the conditions, very good I’d say. Blade is not sharpened albeit cut down to fit the also modified scabbard, where I cannot figure how the scabbard was made... the tip end is intact, marked as it should be with the RA in a circle... the other end is OK too, even tho I think there is where the long scabbard was shortened, a good job here too. All other markings are there, corresponding to a Model 1891 bayonet, where the original number, stamped on the blade itself is S1962 and another number is stamped on the cross 0247... this one not official...it’s meaning unknown to me. All this being said, this piece is worth of a collection, it is for sure from Argentina, it is for Sure a 1891 model... modified or not. Thank you for looking/bidding. Bid with confidence, I have a great reputation here on eBay.
