Antique WWI WWII Dutch Naval E.&F Horster Solingen German Naval Dagger

Description

WWII or earlier era, Dutch Naval cadet dagger, made by "E.F. HORSTER SOLINGEN GERMANY". Dagger is 13 7/8" w/a 10" blade. THE BLADE HAS FANCY ETCHED DECORATIONS ON BOTH SIDES. THERE ARE ANCHORS, SEA SERPANTS AND FLORALS. THE GRIP OF THE DAGGER LOOKS TO BE WHIE CELLULOID. THE HANDLE TRIM IS GILDED CAST METAL. THE BUTT CAP IS THREADED AND UNSCREWS. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS BELOW. I AM NOT 100% SURE OF THE SPECIFIC TYPE OF GERMAN NAVAL or MARITIME DAGGER THIS REPRESENTS. THE DAGGER MEASURES APPROX. 13 7/8" IN OVERALL LENGTH.
