    Description

FROM THE COLLECTION OF FORREST J ACKERMAN
    .
Original one page 8 1/2 x 11 letter dated May 2, 1936 to Forry Ackerman from Joe Hatcher. Very good condition.
Letters like this are pure history as Forry's correspondent reveals the death of an author whose career had just begun and yet he already had several credits in some of the major science fiction and fantasy magazines of the 1930s. Forry thought enough of the young man to reprint one of his stories decades later in the PERRY RHODAN series in the US.
The authors listings on Fictionmags (http://www.philsp.com/homeville/FMI/s/s15.htm#TOP) have the credits for that very young author.
