1 Turkish M-38 bayonet w scabbard turk turkey 1938 model Good shape unique G44

Description

For sale is 1 Turkish M38 Mauser bayonet with scabbard in good shape.  Guarantee to fit your Turkish 8mm rifle.  These where used in WWII but after the war where converted to fit the M1 Garand by added material where the muzzle ring is.  That material fell off over the years and will now fit your 8mm rifle.  (I check them on my own rifle).  There may still be some metal attached to the hilt that was used as a fastener.  A minute with a file or hacksaw would remove the remainder.  (See picture 3 for reference of what I am talking about).
Blade is in good shape with only minor nicks.  Wood grips will be dinged up but still firmly attached.  Release button works well.  There can be minor surface rust on the handle/grip of the bayonet but the blade will be rust free.
Scabbard will allow the bayonet to easily be inserted and removed all the way but can be dented.
A very cool example of the history of modification of old military gear to extend its use.
